First blog EVER :)

Well, I've never tried this blog thing before but I read other people's and I find it very therapeutic and thought it would be equally relaxing to do my own.  But it wouldn't be at all because I'm supposed to be working on a trial brief and this seemed like more fun. ;)  A blog I found online in my first semester of law school actually helped me make the decision to have a baby during law school instead of waiting until I graduated.  I found a blog of one very brave woman who decided to have a baby during law school and that helped me decide I would be brave and crazy :P as well. I am so glad I decided to not wait because of course he is my whole world and although it makes it harder to get through school it makes me more motivated to finish at the same time.  Here is a recent picture of my lil man, Kasen Drake.....  

He is 16 months already! Time sure does fly. 

I hate to talk about sad and depressing things in my first blog ever but my dad passed away a year ago today.  I cannot believe it has been one year.  He had a massive heart attack and died instantly.  It just seems so unfair.  I think about him everyday and wish I could see him and call and have long chats like we always did.  He made me laugh like no one else can.  I just thought he was the funniest man ever.  Here is a picture of him walking me down the aisle on my wedding day in 2005.

RIP Daddy, I love you and miss you very, very much!

No plans really this weekend except for Valentines Day is Monday so maybe my hubbie, Kyle and I will have a date night.

I finally got a new laptop! Mine was over 6 years old and I've spent so much money fixing it over the years that I could have bought a few more by now! I got an acer mini laptop. I love it, it's so lightweight and small.  I take it to class everyday so its just a lot more convenient to have something small.  It took a little bit to get used to it but now I don't even notice that its smaller.  It is smaller than my textbooks and I got Kasen a toy laptop and his is bigger than mine!   

I guess I better get back to my trial brief. :P I'll definitely spare you the details of that though. ;)
